bcNotifer Overview
bcNotifier is an advanced messaging system for the BigCommerce platform.
Why do I need it?
Currently, order messages can go unmissed as the BigCommerce system doesn't notify you when you receive a message from a customer. Also there is no way of telling if a potential customer abandons their cart without logging in to your control panel.
bcNotifier solves these problems by plugging in to the existing API of the BigCommerce system, and checks for new activity. If it detects a new message or abandoned cart, it simply sends you an email to let you know, and you can investigate further.
How does it work?
You connect bcNotifier to your store using the XML API built into BigCommerce. This is done when you sign up for a notifier account. You don't need to do anything else!
bcNotifier pings the API regularly and if it detects new customer messages or abandoned carts, it will email you to help you react to these events quickly. Our tool checks for new messages every five minutes, and for abandoned carts every hour.
